Remember the Super Bowl selfie kid who had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to appear alongside Justin Timberlake during his Super Bowl halftime show? Well he’s on Cloud 9 and has since appeared on “Good Morning America” and “Today,” and has gained 8,000 more followers on Snapchat. However, while he was visiting “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” DeGeneres upped the ante and got her pal Timberlake on the phone!

“I saw all the memes. The iPhone 6 – that thing’s slow,” the impressionable Patriots fan said about the viral photo of him distracted by his phone while Timberlake belted out the lyrics to “Can’t Stop the Feeling” next to him. “I had to get the camera back up to get the selfie,” McKenna explained to DeGeneres.

So what did Timberlake have to say to him? “Ryan, it’s nice to meet you finally,” Timberlake said. “I knew that I wanted to end the performance with ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling’ because I knew how people respond to that song and cut to Ryan,” Timberlake recalled of the “scene-stealing seventh-grader.”
