Country band Home Free has covered many popular tunes in their career, but none has been as well-received as their take on Ed Sheeran’s popular tune from his latest album “Divide ÷” titled “Castle on the Hill.” Home Free took the tune and twisted it to match their vocal harmonies.

Home Free’s accompanying video for the heartfelt song features a young couple who are enjoying their fledgling summer romance, set in the rolling hills of the Oregon countryside. The video’s setting enhances the song and gives the Sheeran tune a new sensibility that is perfect for the country music community.

The band has covered Sheeran before, mashing up his tune “Thinking Out Loud” with Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On.” Home Free has also covered Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling” and Andy Grammer’s “Honey I’m Good.” The group is currently on the road for a summer tour of festivals.
