Unsuspecting Mom Becomes An Internet Sensation With Her Chilling Solo In Empty Grain Silo
Meet Jenny Mann, a mom who hails from Alabama and loves to sing, yet she doesn’t sing just anywhere. Instead, the substitute bus driver by day-turned-soulful singer by night from Ider, Alabama, gets creative. She chooses to share her powerhouse pipes at unique and unexpected places where the acoustics are simply incredible.
The dedicated mom of three decided to belt out and record her “performance” in an empty grain bin, a.k.a., a grain silo, and record herself singing the cherished Christian hymn, “How Great Thou Art.” Then after mesmerizing her fans with that tune, she gave both new and old fans a stunning rendition of “God Bless America.”
After posting the video to Facebook, it has been shared over 30,000 times and viewed nearly 2 million times – and counting! “I posted the video for a friend of mine who loves the song, but never expected anything like the response I’ve received,” Mann told Country Rebel. “I’m always singing in places with good acoustics, so this was nothing out of the ordinary for me.” Keep ’em coming, Ms. Mann!
