This Precious 81-Year-Old Granny’s Heartfelt Audition Leaves Judges, Entire Audience In Tears

Some aspiring singers may have stage presence, but not all truly command the stage, have life experience, and the ability to be a genuine storyteller. However, one contestant on “Ireland’s Got Talent,” an 81-year-old Grandma named Evelyn, has all of that – and then some!

Evelyn is a widow who has two children, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. While she is very loved, she misses the love of her life, her late husband who passed away seven years ago. “Oh, my husband, I miss him like a limb…” she said with tears in her eyes. “He was a good man and he loved to hear me sing.”

Watch Evelyn pour her heart and soul into Singing Stephen Sondheim’s “Send in the Clowns” (penned for the musical, “A Little Night Music,”) as her granddaughter and best friend root her on. It’s truly one of the most precious moments ever!
