‘This Is Us’ Creator Made A New Movie And It’s A Tearjerker That’s Being Praised By Mandy Moore, Barbara Streisand
It’s that time again to break out the tissues and have a good, solid cry! It’s been a while since “This Is Us” fans have let their emotions run wild since the season finale aired back in March. Have no fear, “This Is us” creator Dan Fogelman is back with a real tearjerker, but this time it’s on the big screen. The film is called “Life Itself,” and it’s so touching that it’s receiving praise from “This Is Us” star Mandy Moore and icon, Barbara Streisand!
Fogelman is at the helm again (where he belongs!) and serves as both writer and director for the star-studded film that “focuses on how love and loss intertwine with life.” The stellar cast includes Oscar Isaac, Olivia Wilde, Antonio Banderas, Annette Bening, Olivia Cooke, Sergio Peris- Mencheta, Laia Costa, Alex Monner and Mandy Patinkin.
“Everything @Dan_Fogelman touches is brilliant—life-affirming, heartbreaking and everything in between,” tweeted Mandy Moore. “This movie is no exception and I can’t wait to see it again.” Streisand, a longtime friend of Fogelman also tweeted: “Complex, romantic, shocking, mysterious, moving… like life itself! Everything you want in a movie.” “Life Itself” hits theaters Sept. 21.
