This Family-Run Store’s $10 Heartfelt Christmas Ad Is Giving The Big Brands A Run For Their Money

Hafod Hardware just released its Christmas advert that’s already garnering attention on social media. The advert was made for only £6.99 (around $10) and was made in one day. Somehow, the ad doesn’t look as cheap and poorly made as you may think. This heartfelt advert is making people feel things as it comes up against John Lewis’ Christmas advert.

Tom Jones and filmmaker Josh Holdaway wanted to create a Christmas advert that featured locals bustling around the town during the holidays. This incredible two-minute video shows these people going about their daily tasks. Jones originally came up with this idea as a joke. He didn’t expect to get such a reaction out of the finalized advert.

It costs the two men only £6.99 to create the video. Most of the budget was spent on the festive red sack, which you’ll see in the video below. The video shows Jones riding around on a vintage Honda motorcycle through Elan Valley on Christmas Eve with the large red shack on his back. He delivers the presents to the locals and gives four white candles to the nearby church. Jones comes home to find himself met by gifts under the tree and his adorable baby boy crawling towards him.
