Shy Boy Belts Out Celine Dion Classic So Good That One Judge Jumps Out Of His Seat!
When a shy 13-year-old boy and aspiring singer named Abu decided to sign up for a blind audition for “The Voice Kids,” he took a leap of faith in his song choice. While some might find it too risky, Abu chose to sing a classic from one of the most powerful singers in the world – Celine Dion!
So when Abu began to belt out Dion’s most famous song, “My Heart Will Go On,” the international hit from the film, “Titanic,” the judges were in awe of such a bold song choice. Luckily, it worked out in his favor and Abu nailed it!
Abu had just completed the first verse and judges Josje Huisman, Laura Tesoro and Sean Dhondt were completely captivated. Then they all hit their buzzers! The audience roared and Dhondt literally jumped out of his seat and sat down, cross-legged in front of Abu. Then after some fierce applause, Dhondt gave Abu a high five!
