Just days after her historic performance at the Super Bowl LIV, that’s being hailed as the best halftime show ever, Shakira’s hit songs “Wherever, Whenever” and “Waka Waka” have reached top positions in the charts. Almost two decades after its release, the Lebanese-Colombian singer her song “Whenever, Wherever” got to No. 1 on U.S. iTunes on Tuesday.
Shakira took to the stage alongside fellow superstar, Jennifer Lopez in an electric halftime performance, both making history as the first two Latino women to headline the show together. Shakira released a photo on Instagram after the show that her fans and the support have been “the best birthday gift.”
