Meryl Streep And Tom Hanks Should Win An Oscar Alone For Their Spot-On Impressions Of Each Other

Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks are seriously good at acting. The friends and actors stopped by The Ellen Show following the Golden Globes. The two are currently promoting their new movie The Post. They were challenged to do some impressions of each other’s iconic characters on Tuesday’s episode of Ellen.

Streep and Hanks had to use hilarious wigs and props while doing impressions of each other. Streep did Forrest Gump and Woody from Toy Story. Meanwhile, Hanks took on the roles of Margaret Thatcher and Miranda Priestly from The Devil Wears Prada. These roles were difficult to perform, but they pulled it off well.

Most daytime talk shows are cheesy or boring to watch. But Ellen makes sure that her interviews are fun for everyone, including the audience at home. She loves picking on her celebrity guests and having them do crazy stunts. They’re willing to do it because they love Ellen. It’s a win-win for everyone. Hanks and Streep should get Oscars for their incredible impressions.
