Meet ‘The Badpiper,’ The World’s Only Heavy Metal Bagpipe Player With A Flame-Throwing Instrument!
Bagpipes have a unique and unforgettable sound reminiscent of the epic battles in “Braveheart” and a celebration of Scottish culture. Yet there is a badass bagpipe player and heavy metal enthusiast who decided to change up the game. He goes by “The Badpiper” and he appropriately dons black leather, tattoos and blazing flames shoot out from his instrument!
Back in 2010, “The Badpiper” rose to bagpipe superstardom when he landed a spot as a finalist on “Australia’s Got Talent.” He wowed the judges with his talent, fiery flare and original spin that left the audience stunned. “You treated that like a lead guitarist in a rock band. I have never heard a bagpipe played like that before,” said “AGT’s Brian McFadden.
After the “AGT” finals, “The Badpiper” joined the world famous Crusty Demons on their “Thirst for Destruction” tour across Australia. “The Badpiper” has released three albums thus far including: “Music for the Kilted Generation,” “Liverdance and the Tradical,” and “The Baddie,” which is also his moniker.
