“Hallelujah”: This Tender Version By A Gifted Country Singer Will Move You

by Superstar MagazinePublished Oct 12, 2017

Leonard Cohen. “Hallelujah.” It’s one of those songs that everyone seems to want to do a cover of, but at the same time, one of those songs that you feel like NO ONE should do a cover of. It feels like it should be in the “untouchable category.”

But every once in a while you get the right person, with the right sound, who totally nails it. I’m not talking, “sounds just like the original” nails it. I’m talking, “this is freaking fresh and awesome” nails it.

Here’s the performance by Country Music star Brett Young where he wows the crowd with his rendition of “Hallelujah” on Taste of Country Risers. It’s raw. It’s gorgeous. It’s skin-tingling good you’re probably going to want to watch it again and again. His crooning, sweetness of melted honey goodness hits the spot and I don’t mind coming back for more. Check out the video here and let yourself swoon.
