Charismatic Girl With Arm Deformity Nails Carrie Underwood Cover And Stuns Judges
Throughout every season on the “X Factor,” the judges see every end of the spectrum, from wacky to comical and super-talented. Yet when aspiring singer Rion Paige auditioned back in 2013, they discovered a true diamond in the rough.
The sweet and bubbly girl was diagnosed with arthrogryposis multiplex congenita (AMC), and in her case, this means an arm deformity and blindness in one eye. To cope with her condition, she has always turned to music, and it certainly has paid off. After her chat with the judges, you can tell that they were rooting for this exuberant and kind soul.
Rion decided to tackle a challenging Carrie Underwood cover, “Blown Away” and she did just that! The curly-haired cutie-pie blew the judges away with her passionate rendition. All the judges praised her, including the infamous curmudgeon “X Factor” judge and creator, Simon Cowell who called her “extraordinary.” He also pointed out that it was the “easiest yes” that he’s ever had to make!
