Bride Honors Deaf Dad By Signing Song For Their Father-Daughter Dance And It’s A Tearjerker!
Giving your daughter away at her wedding is one of the most cherished and unforgettable moments for any proud dad, and the father-daughter dance is just the icing on the cake! One kind-hearted bride named Julie Finkel, whose parents were born deaf due to a Rubella Measles outbreak in the 1960’s, decided to give her dad the sweetest tribute ever.
When Julie got engaged to her soul mate, Rob Norton, she just knew that she had to do something special for her dad. So she chose “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts for the father-daughter dance and filmed a “sign-along” video to accompany the music.
“He looked absolutely shocked,” Julie told Inside Edition. “He was grinning so much, and he just looked like he was in awe. At the end of the song, he couldn’t keep it in anymore and he was crying.” Watch this beautiful father-daughter dance and Julie’s incredible thoughtfulness to incorporate every detail in her beloved father’s honor.
