Air Force A Capella Group Flies High With Classic ‘N Sync Tune On ‘AGT’

Music by Lucille Barilla on August 12, 2017

In The Stairwell is an all-make acapella group, formed while its members were all part of the United States Air Force Academy Colorado Springs, Colorado. They can now call themselves finalists of “America’s Got Talent” after their blistering rendition of a classic 2000 ‘N Sync tune blew the judges away.

The 15-man choir sang the pop tune “Bye Bye Bye,” which was included on ‘N Sync’s record-breaking album, “No Strings Attached.” Their vocal harmonies were so on-point that it seemed you were actually listening to music when in fact; the group had no musical accompaniment with the tune at all.

The group was lauded by judges Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell. After a season of talent unlike the series has ever broadcast prior, the finals of season 12 of the popular reality competition series will air from Las Vegas, NV beginning on Tuesday, August 15, 2017.
