This clip, recorded at the Grand Opera House in 1973, features The Marshall Tucker Band’s lead singer at age 26 absolutely destroying and wailing on their classic hit, “Can’t You See.” We can’t go back in time to experience this ourselves, so thank goodness this clip taken that day in Georgia captures all the passion and vibes of the band that performed over 300 shows every year when they were in the surge of their popularity. Though Toy Caldwell passed on at age 45 in 1993, his legend lives on. Thank goodness you can see that skill – and his solo at 2:34? He did it the same way with his fingers for all those shows! #amazing #yas
