With the current success of Team GB, Britain has been struck with Olympic Fever and we here at Superstar will be sad to see it end.
One good thing will come out of the end of the Olympics though…the closing ceremony!
Danny Boyle’s Opening Ceremony, which featured performances from Emeli Sande and Paul McCartney, was a huge success so it’ll be difficult to top it!
Although London Officials are keen to keep performers a secret, some artists just can’t hide their enthusiasm.
George Michael appeared to confirm his involvement on twitter as he said, “…Spending most of the next week rehearsing like crazy for the Olympic closing ceremony”.
Muse, who performed the official track for the Olympics, also acknowledged their involvement when they spoke to NME magazine.
One Direction, The Spice Girls, Ed Sheeran, The Who and Take That are also rumoured to be performing.
That’s a lot of British talent on display! The closing ceremony takes place on Sunday at 9pm and we certainly hope most of these rumours are true!
