Little Mix have insisted that they didn’t want their new single ‘Wings’ to be too cheesy.
“It’s a feel-good song. We want people to feel something when they listen to it. But we didn’t want to be too cheesy with the ‘Believe in yourself’ thing” Jesy Nelson told Attitude Magazine.
“There’s nothing wrong with writing songs about clubs and parties but I think it’s cool to do a song that means something.”
The group – consisting of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall – won The X-Factor last year under their mentor Tulisa. Although there are no plans to collaborate with the former N-Dubz star yet.
“We just wanted to focus on our own sound and hopefully after that…We’d love to do a collaboration”.
Let’s hope a Tulisa-Little Mix collaboration happens soon!
