New Music: Fergie & Pitbull- “Feel Alive”

While The Black Eyed Peas are on a break, Fergie hasn’t completely stayed away from the recording studio. Instead, she’s recorded a new single called “Feel Alive” with rapper Pitbull and DJ Poet.

The single will be featured on the soundtrack for the fourth film in the Step Up series called Step up Revolution.

On the upbeat dance track, Fergie sings, “Wake me up in the morning, slow me down in the evening, give me whatever you want to make me feel alive”.

Pitbull pays tribute to Fergie’s vocals in The Black Eyed Peas’ hit Boom Boom Pow with the lyrics, “I’m so 3000 and great / They’re so 2000 and hate”.

The soundtrack is available to download from July 20.

Unfortunately, this single doesn’t mean that the ‘Glamorous’ singer is ready to go back to the studio permanently. She recently revealed that she wants to make the most of her break from The Black Eyed Peas by working on her shoe line and spending time with her husband. We don’t blame her as her husband Josh Duhamel is a hottie but this single has only wet our appetite for new Fergie music!
