Adele and Lana Del Rey were amongst many other big names in music who attended the 57th Ivor Novello Awards. Held at the Grosvenor House in London, the singing sensations were two of the biggest winners of the night.
‘The Someone Like You’ star took home two awards that night, including the PRS for her hit single ‘Rolling In The Deep.’ She was also awarded the prestigious Songwriter Of The Year award, which was presented to her by the legendary Annie Lennox.
Lana Del Ray stepped onto the music scene just under a year ago and already she has made a serious impact due to her extraordinary success. The ‘Born To Die’ vocalist scooped up the award for Best Contemporary Song for her hit single ‘Video Games.’
Although these two singing sensations truly dominated the award show, they were not the only ones to receive all the glory. Ed Sheeran won the award for the Best Song Musically And Lyrically, for his renowned track ‘The A-Team.’ A night full of star studded musicians and it’s great to see our favourite’s come out on top.
