Rita Ora has spoken about the comparisons to megastar Rihanna.
Signed to Jay-Z‘s label Roc Nation in 2009, Ora told the The Guardian, “I don’t think there will be a next Rihanna..But I think [Jay-Z] definitely sees me as someone who could be as big as Rihanna.”
“She’s a superstar now but they first knew her as a small-island girl – and they want to repeat that success,” she added.
The Brit singer also chatted about the first time she met Jay-Z.
“I shook his hand and my belly felt like it was about to throw up” Though after a hours later Ora recalled, ”It was like I knew him for years. He’s so welcoming and humble, and genuinely helpful and caring when it comes to music.”
Ora is currently on the promotional trail for her newly released single, ‘R.I.P.’ featuring rapper Tinie Tempah.
