Mel C has confirmed that the Spice Girls will not get back together for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert.
Mel B had previously let the news slip on Australian TV that the ‘If You Wanna Be My Lover’ group would be making an appearance at the Buckingham Palace concert on 4th June.
Though, today,Mel C announced on tv show Lorraine, that there were no plans for a Spice Girls reunion.
On the Jubilee concert, she said: “It’s such an incredible opportunity and what a wonderful thing to be able to do, the concert looks like it’s going to be out of this world. But unfortunately we don’t plan to perform or reform, so I’m sorry to disappoint anybody.
“We often have things that we talk about and it was something that we discussed, but unfortunately it’s not going to happen.”
“It would be such a great thing to perform for but, sadly not.”
However acts that are confirmed are Sir Elton John, Sir Paul McCartney, Dame Shirley Bassey and Jessie J.
