
The 54th Annual Grammy Awards 2012 took place at The Staples Centre Los Angeles California, on Sunday night.
As LL cool J kick started the evening with a prayer to Whitney Houston, it really set the tone for the rest of the night ,“Although she is gone too soon, we remain truly blessed by her musical spirit’.

Celebrity’s that left armed with a Grammy included Adele who walked away with six awards for ‘Song Of The Year’, ‘Best Pop Solo Performance’, ‘Best Pop Vocal Album’, ’Best Short Form Music Video’, ‘Record Of The Year’, and ’Album Of The Year’. Foo Fighters who came in close second and picked up five Grammy’s for the ‘Best Rock Performance’, ‘Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance’, Best Rock Song’, ‘Best Rock Album’, and ‘Best Long Form Music Video’.
Other proud owners of a Grammy include Skrillex, ‘Best Dance Recording’, Best Dance/Electronica Album’, and ‘Best Remixed Recording Non Classical’. The late Amy Winehouse also won an award for the ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance’.
