Kelly Clarkson gave the performance of her life at the Super Bowl XLVI , singing the US national anthem.
The two time Grammy award winner gave a spectacular rendition of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ before the game between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots. Clarkson was joined by the Indianapolis Children’s Choir and drummers.
Kelly will also perform at next Sundays highly anticipated Grammy Awards, other artists lined up are: Rihanna, Coldplay, Nicki Minaj and Foo Fighters.
The former American Idol winner has also performed at the Australian National Rugby League grand final.
The performance of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ had been previously been given by Christina Aguilera who had memorably messed up her lines.
Aguilera had later joked that she “made [herself] a Trivial Pursuit question” with the performance she gave.
