Action star Sylvester Stallone has spoken of his hopes for the third installment of his ‘Expendables’ franchise.
The first two Expendables films already brought together Stallone, Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jet Li and Mickey Rourke amongst others, but according to Stallone, the next film needs ‘new blood’.
The Rocky star tweeted out to his followers that: ‘EX3 needs NEW blood and more humor…. The films were always meant to be more on the humorous side with moments of drama’.
Someone that might be able to provide that humour is fellow action star Jackie Chan, who Stallone is apparently looking to sign on for The Expendables 3, continuing to tweet that ‘No S. Seagal, sorry ,but maybe we get lucky with J. Chan! And some young bloods!!!’
