Disney’s live-action adaptation of classic fairtyale Cinderella may have finally gotten it’s wheels in motion.
The film has been in development since 2011, with the original script having been recently redrafted by Twilight: New Moon’s Chris Weitz.
Now, Thor director Kenneth Branagh is in talks to helm the movie, following original director Mark Romanek’s decision to leave the project due to creative differences.
Although nothing has been confirmed, executives in charge of the film are reportedly keen to tie things up quickly, in order to keep Cate Blanchett in the role of Cinderella’s wicked stepmother.
