LOST and Star Trek producer J.J. Abrams is set to direct a biopic covering the life of disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong.
The film is set to be based on New York Times sportswriter Juliet Macur’s upcoming book ‘Cycle Of Lies: The Fall Of Lance Armstrong’, which will be released in June.
In a sit-down interview with US chat show host Oprah Winfrey this week, Armstrong confessed to fuelling his cycling career through doping, and that he couldn’t have won the Tour de France seven times without performance enhancing drugs.
