In order to celebrate the launch of Rihanna’s River Island collection on Tuesday, Opening Ceremony will exhibit seven of Rihanna’s most notorious outfits at its New York flagship store.
The exhibition will feature an array of the stars most iconic and fashionable ensembles, featuring both stage and red carpet looks. A look which is set to make an appearance is the the stunning pink lace dress by Adam Selman which she wore at the Victoria’s Secret 2012 show. The displays purpose os to demonstrate Rihanna’s diversity whether ”really pulled together or grungy for performances”, said her stylist, Mel Ottenberg.
Rihanna had a great deal of influence and was heavily involved in the decision in finalising the seven outfits. The number seven represents her seven album releases in seven years, seven Grammy awards, seven Billboard awards and her 777 tour.
