As well as show casing their stunning dresses, the leading ladies at the Academy Awards 2013 on Sunday evening showed off some gorgeous beauty looks and fabulous hair do’s. This year it was all about the defined eye without accentuating the bottom lashes and a nude lip. Lets take a look at the best in beauty at the Oscars 2013.
Anne Hathaway who picked up the Best Supporting Actress Award stayed true to her porcelain skin with little or no blush and a thick flick of black liner paired with a rosey pink lip. With Anne’s cropped do she has been keeping her fashion simple but experimenting with bolder make-up.
Charlize Theron wore a brilliant white gown but added colour to her look with dusky pink shadow a muted rose lip and a soft contour which set off her subtle bronze glow. The trick is to keep eyebrows perfect with such a severe chop.
Amanda Seyfried wore her hair back in to a tousled up do with wispy fly-away’s for an ethereal yet sophisticated hair style The actress contrasted her blue eyes with amethyst and lavender eye shadow paired with a natural lip and a shimmering highlighter to complement her soft blush..
Jennifer Lawrence, who may have added a natural blush while tripping to pick up her Best Actress Award, went for a very subtle smokey eye, black lashes and a muted but glossy lip.
Naomi Watts went for a wavy up-do too leaving some stray hairs to frame her face. The star kept her look even more simple with black lashes and no shadow but a coral contour to highlight her cheekbones.
The stunning Samantha Barks set off her olive skin with a copper smokey eye and cream coloured shadow on the inner corners of her eyes. She kept her skin slightly bronzed with a nude lip. The Les Mis star wore her hair in a messy up-do which was a favourite for the evening.
Amy Adams accentuated her pool blue eyes with ultra curled lashes. We love the middle parted bouffant up do!
Jennifer Garner stayed on trend with her subtle make-up making sure those top lashes were blacker than black then toning it down with a soft contour and nude lip. The actress let some of her ombre curls loose from her chignon too.
Zoe Saldana tucked her glossy waves back to show off her flawless skin. Zoe went for thick and black lashes with a bold lash line and rich smokey brown shadow with a shimmering highlight across her cheek.
Kerry Washington kept her make-up flawless and matte with super long lashes, blush pink apples of her cheeks and very little lip product.
Kristen Stewart kept up her trademark unkempt look with her unruly mane swept back in voluminous waves and her make-up grungy-but-soft with a pink lip.
Reese Witherspoon looked every inch the blonde Hollywood bombshell. The actresses eyes popped against her electric blue dress and were lined with grey and silver with mega black lashes. Her glamorous blonde curls tumbled over her shoulder for a real Oscars finish.
Jessica Chastain made us swoon with her radiant alabaster skin and (Hooray) a red lip! The actress complemented her shimmering dress with gold glittery eye shadow and black lashe for an all round old school Hollywood glam beauty look.
