The Grammy Awards 2013 took place in Los Angeles last night and while there were some questionable choices on the red carpet these stars came up trumps in the style stakes. Take a look at our top five best dressed ladies from the event!
Rihanna’s Alaia gown was simply stunning. We love that fact that although she looked ladylike and demure, the little sheer cut out panels were a nod to her usual risque ensembles.
What more can we say about Adele in red floral Valentino but WOW. We always expect black from Adele because it’s what she wears best but this dress reflects her vibrant personality and happiness at the moment. Such a brave style move definitely paid off for us!
Taylor Swift rarely gets it wrong on the red carpet. This J Mendel gown ticks all the right boxes for us. We adore the silver detailing and the cute hair braid too.
Kelly Rowland showed us all how to work a black frock. We love the sexy cut outs that compliment the demure nature of the gown and the way it accentuates the shape of Kelly’s body.
Katy Perry opted for something totally different and it payed off massively. The soft mint green hue contrasting with her raven waves and porcelain skin is genius and the gold embellishment and exposed cleavage still manages to keep the look classy.
