Just when you thought you were doing it right and wearing a coat as an actual coat, the stars make up their own rules and wear their coats casually draped over their shoulders like that’s what they were made for!
Firstly we want to know how it doesn’t fall off every two seconds and secondly we would like to know how can we look this cool doing the drape without any back hunching or chicken arms!
Chloe Moretz makes draping the new way of wearing a coat. This large beige number may be over sized but it doesn’t take anything away from her bright yellow Versace dress.
Kim Kardashian drapes a long black coat over her shoulder while out with Kanye West. We like the very classy and lady like way of wearing a statement piece. (We think Kanye should give Chloe Moretz her coat back though.)
Rihanna is so darn cool she only needs one shoulder to drape her green leather Alexander McQueen jacket over.

Queen VB of style and class wears her own maroon creation with absolute effortlessness. If there’s anyone who could pull this way of wearing off it would be Victoria Beckham.
We think with a little practice we could pull of ‘the drape’ but we may not be able to carry a handbag or answer our phone so we should leave it to the celebs (who have people to do that for them.)
