Ke$ha: ‘I Only Made $1.63 For Writing Miley Cyrus Track’

Hot 99.5's Jingle Ball 2012 Presented By Charleston Alexander Diamond Importers - PRESS ROOM

Pop princess Ke$ha might be a popular fixture at the top of worldwide music charts in 2013, but just four short years ago, things certainly weren’t going as smoothly for the TiK ToK hitmaker.

In a new interview with Seventeen magazine the singer has revealed how during her time as a songwriter she recieved a cheque for writing on Miley Cyrus’ Time Of Our Lives EP which amounted to a measly one dollar and sixty-three cents.

Looking back, Ke$ha can smile about the incident, going on to claim that she never cashed the cheque, and that it’s still attached to a bulletin board in her house.

Good thing TiK ToK came along then…
