The London based fashion designer and a high fashion model Danish Wakeel revealed his latest collection ‘The Peacock Revolution’ and short fashion film ‘Embodiment of Extravagance’, in association with London Model Academy and The Hilton Foundation, on the closing day of London Fashion Week 2012.
The event took place on the 18 of September 2012 at the Hilton London Metropole hotel and was not only attended by the local London fashionistas and the Lipstick Brigade but also by the Hollywood celebrity hair stylist Stuart Phillips, Bollywood celebrity fashion designer Rocky S, fashion designer Anoosh Naghibi and many more.
Peacock revolution is a high fashion collection of luscious, opulent,flamboyant and exuberant creations of vivid colors. The designer has been inspired by the glamor of the 1960′s and incorporated elements of Bohemianism, The Hippie movement and the Peacock man.
The short fashion film ‘ Embodiment of Extravagance’ is based on the plethora (or affluence) of London and has a jubilant climax, will also be premiered just before the catwalk show. The luxurious fashion show was followed by a glamorous after-party at one of the most prestigious West End clubs, Aura Mayfair, where the best dressed guy and the best dress doll from the Fashion show were awarded a creation from ‘Danish Wakeel’s Peacock Revolution’.
