It has been reported that Kate Middleton has shown an interest in sewing and dressmaking.
The princess has shown great enthusiasm for the craft as she has recently visited the seamstress who worked on her own wedding dress.
Sophie Long, one of the praised seamstresses who worked on Kate’s exquisite Alexander McQueen wedding dress told the press “Kate showed a real interest in embroidery, which made making the dress extra special. She came to visit the RSN to say thank you for the work on the dress, which was amazing.”
Kate’s new hobby may indeed be the beginning of the Duchess’s own fashion line. Constantly praised for her inspirational style the Queen to be would be the perfect person to become a successful designer when she has time off from her royal engagements.
