British fashion designer, Nadine Merabi is launching her latest Autumn/Winter 12 red carpet dresses range in Manchester’s two Selfridges branches this month.
Merabi has taken the fashion world by storm over the last year. Known for creating glamourous red carpet gowns, her small boutique in Manchester has rapidly become the headquarters for the who’s who of famous faces flocking to be dressed by the young designer.
Stars have been queuing up to grace red carpet events in her bespoke dresses which have received major praise at premieres, parties and National TV award ceremonies, and with the press filling every magazine page with her stunning creations.
The statement dresses range in style from sultry backless and fitted numbers to figure-flattering draped Grecian styles.
“We do follow trends occasionally, but most of the time I want my designs to be timeless, not in fashion or out of fashion. Something that you could wear it now or wear in five years’ time, and it would still look great,” Merabi stated.
“With my clothes I want someone to be able to walk into the room wearing them and for people to say ‘Wow, she looks amazing’. To wear our designs you’ve definitely got to be confident, you’ve got to want to get noticed.”
