The fashion world has gone lunatic admiring Chanel’s giant hula hoop bag unveiled by Karl Lagefield at Paris Fashion Week for their S/S 2013 Collection. Yes, we love it too!
On the other side of the channel, London conceptual fashion designer Anoosh claims that the design is his original work, copied by Chanel. He admits that it may have been inspired by his work, which he revealed over two years ago and they are free to improve on a trend, but he has showed his frustration at the lack of credit where it’s due.
If Karl Lagefield did copy this bag, it’s not only embarrassing for Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld to be lifting designs from other designers without acknowledging but will also be a blow in the face to their originality.
