Maria Sharapova has proven she isn’t just a professional tennis player, by posing for the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Russia.
The 25-year-old beauty shows off her amazing figure in a series of black and white shots, with a dramatic beach backdrop to add intensity.
However with the Olympics at the forefront of her mind she explained “When I received the call to carry Russia’s flag during the Opening Ceremony, I almost didn’t believe it. It was only later that I learned that I was to be the first female athlete in Russia’s history to do so.”
Adding, “It’s a very proud moment to be chosen to represent a country that has shown me such support and loyalty throughout my career.”
