American Music Awards 2011: Best & Worst Dressed

Audrina Patridge, Jennifer Hudson, Heidi Klum, Katy Perry, Mary J Blige, Taylor Swift

It was all about metallics at 2011 American Music Awards last night, in Los Angeles. From Selena Gomez to Heidi Klum, the hottest celebs were on-hand to celebrate the show stopping event, and there was no shortage of exciting looks. Superstar Magazine checks out who got it right on the red carpet and well, who really didn’t!

BEST DRESSED

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez stunned channelling Old Hollywood glamour, opting for a va-va-voom champagne satin Giorgio Armani gown, complete with a plunging neckline and a thigh-high slit.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift dazzled chic in a gold beaded Reem Acra dress that perfectly showed off her svelte figure.

Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Hudson showed off her trim figure  in a mini shiny silver dress by Jenny Packham.

Audrina Patridge

Audrina Patridge was a tanned to perfection in a strapless ultra-suede cutout dress.

Vanessa Lachey

Vanessa Lachey showed off her glowing complexion in a ruched white  mini.

WORST DRESSED

Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum wore a crisp metallic Giles Deacon dress with a laser cut design to reveal a purple bodysuit underneath. Hmm..Questionable outfit?

Alanis Morisette

Alanis Morisette went for a darkly romantic look in a black chiffon dress. Not really feeling the cut of the gown at the front..A tad unflattering.

Mary J Blige

Mary J. Blige wore a animal print one-sleeved gown. Too complicated for our liking.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry showed off her quirky style opting for a chinese-print Vivienne Westwood dress with purple heels and pink hair. We love that the pop diva takes risks but sometimes those risks are just a step too far.

Who were your BEST and WORST dressed?
