Spring Breakers star James Franco has been promoting a grand total of THREE sex-related films at this years Sundance film festival, including ‘Lovelace’, a biopic about pornstar Linda Lovelace, in which he stars as a young Hugh Hefner.
Next up is ‘Interior. Leather Bar’, is a sixty-minute film which Franco both appeared in and co-directed, which sees him talking about his plans to recreate forty minutes of sexually explicit footage cut from Al Pacino’s 1980 film ‘Cruising.
Franco was also promoting ‘Kink’, a documentary he produced about a hardcore BDSM-related porn website, and found himself fielding some tough questions about his decision to take on such sexually-charged projects.
When quizzed by E! Online about the films Franco explained;” (sex) still has this strange power and danger, where it’s on most people’s minds. Even if it’s not on your mind, you’re making a very conscious choice to keep it off your mind.”
Well, at least nobody can call him a prude.
