Popstar Justin Timberlake’s latest music video is to remain online, despite drawing criticism for it’s explicit content.
The promo clip for ‘Tunnel Vision’, which was released earlier this week, features shots of Timberlake interspersed with images of naked women, and has drawn widespread media attention following it’s online premiere.
Despite this however, the video is to remain uploaded on social video site Youtube, after the nude shots were officially classified as ‘art’. Check out the video below!
In a statement, a company spokesperson claimed: “While our guidelines generally prohibit nudity, we make exceptions when it is presented in an educational, documentary or artistic context, and take care to add appropriate warnings and age restrictions.”
In the past, numerous clips have been censored or removed from Youtube for containing of nudity, most recently in the instance of fellow popstar Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’ video.
What do you think? Can Justin’s video really call itself art? Be sure to let us know!
