If you’ve ever had a loved one suffer from Alzheimer’s, you know just how sad it can be to watch someone become unfamiliar with everything around them.┬áThis is something that Simon McDermott knows all too well as he watches his 80-year-old father, Ted, struggle with Alzheimer’s. Although Ted’s memory fails him most of the time, Simon has found a very cool way to connect with his father. When Simon plays his father’s favorite songs, Ted comes to life and sings word-for-word. While he may not be able to remember names, faces, and places, Ted is still able to create lasting memories with his loving son.
