As awards season draws nearer and nearer Katy Perry is full of excitement at the prospect of being nominated for an Oscar.
The songstresses hit single ‘Wide Awake’ has been shortlisted in the ‘Original Song’ category for this year’s academy awards. It won’t be until the 10th of January that the final nominations will be announced. The song was written for Miss Perry’s 3D concert movie ‘Part Of Me.’
Katy expresses her happiness saying “It’s like a dreams dream. When I was growing up and working on music, it was always a dream to win a Grammy, but Oscar was so far out of my dream sphere.”
