It has been confirmed that Britney Spears is the newest celebrity to join the Whitney Houston tribute which is taking place on the 14th of October.
The X Factor judge has said that she is “humbled” to have been chosen to co-host the event, titled “We Will Always Love You: A Grammy Salute to Whitney Houston.” The singer will be working alongside the likes of Halle Berry, Taraji P. Henson and LL Cool J, to celebrate Whitney Houston’s legacy.
The ‘Radar’ singer took to twitter to announce her good news, “I am both honored and humbled to take part in the GRAMMY salute to Whitney Houston on Thursday … She’ll always be 1 of my heroes! (sic)”
Other music icons are set to perform at the event including Jennifer Hudson, Usher and Celine Dion.
