Victoria Beckham as been thought to have confirmed that the Spice Girls will be performing at the closing ceremony of the Olympics, after the fashionista posted a diamond encrusted microphone on twitter.
The singer further tweeted “Look what I found!! X vb”, alongside a picture of a very glamorous sparkly microphone.
However there has been no confirmation on behalf of the band and Victoria’s publicist has made no comment as of yet on the potential reunion. Many fans believe that Beckham’s mysterious tweet is enough to lay the rumours at rest.
Mel C is extremely keen on the idea and said “I’d be really upset if the Spice Girls weren’t included in the Olympics, whether it be the opening or closing ceremonies or any other playlists, because I think we absolutely represented Britain in the 90s… We literally flew the flag – and Geri even wore it – around the globe.”
