The Hunger Games star, Jennifer Lawrence who plays Katniss in the hotly anticipated movie has drawn a comparision between Kim Kardashian‘s divorce and the brutal battle at the center of the book-turned-movie’s plot.
The 21-year old actress spoke about the reality TV star in a recent interview Parade Magazine.
“I was watching the Kardashian girl getting divorced, and that’s a tragedy for anyone,” said Lawrence. “But they’re using it for entertainment, and we’re watching it. The books hold up a terrible kind of mirror: This is what our society could be like if we became desensitized to trauma and to each other’s pain.”
