French gossip magazine Public last week published pictures from what it claimed is an Adele sex tape.
But the ‘Rolling In The Deep’ singer quickly denied the claims, and is now suing the magazine.
Shillings Her legal representatives, told Mail Online:
“Our client has not appeared in a sex tape as claimed in the article. Our client does not appear in the photographs.
“Such claims are untrue and grossly defamatory. Our client is taking legal action in relation to this matter.”
Adele, 23, is understandably upset by the allegations, as she has worked hard to build a reputation as a down-to-earth artist, rarely seen drinking or partying.
She also recently began a relationship with financier-turned-charity boss Simon Konecki, so reports of a sex tape would certainly be unwelcome.
Public, meanwhile, has yet to comment or retract the allegations.
However, Adele is nevertheless a huge success, winning six Grammys this year.
